About Me

Hello, I’m Susie White, professional organiser and declutter coach. My background was working as a counsellor, with an emphasis on grief and loss work. I became immersed in the world of organising and decluttering in 2005 and entered the profession in 2007.

I’ve always been innately interested in organising. As a child around the age of 4, mum would find me rearranging shop windows stores!

I became really drawn towards professional organising techniques in 2005. I’d been increasingly frustrated by the sheer amount of clutter that came through my front door and wanted to learn new and more effective ways of dealing with it. I soon began studying with inspirational organising teachers around the world. The relief I felt from being able to easily find, file, archive and let go was tangible, it changed my life. To this day I still love finding new ways of storing items and creating a new feel to a space.

Like any new learning, it takes time and commitment to change and adopt new systems. I work with clients to find a system that works for them. We often need small tweaks and adjustments along the way, and this is an important and enjoyable part of the process. I like to hear what is working and what is not.

Being disorganised and living in a world of chaos holds people back in so many ways, there are many hidden costs to being disorganised. There can be a sense of shame and I understand that; it can be scary letting a stranger into your home and admitting you need help. I offer completely non-judgemental support to help you make decisions. Sometimes it’s the smallest changes that have the biggest results.

One of my main goals for my clients is not just a beautifully structured space, it is that you are now free to go out and live your best life. Get out into the world, achieve your dreams, try new things, feel comfortable inviting friends or colleagues over, and find your true calling. Whatever it is, being organised gives you back so much TIME to do the things you’re passionate about.

That is why I chose a Phoenix as my logo. The bird obtains new life by arising from the ashes. You will arise from the ashes of your clutter into who you really are, who you’ve always been underneath, it can be a process of rediscovering and reconnecting to your true self.

When it comes to decluttering your own things, every item holds a story, and it’s is a process of refocussing the mind on what is most important to you.

I look forward to working with you, call me for an obligation free chat today.

Why Does This Work

Why does my service work?  Because I can transform your day, and you may find this starts to transform your life.

Every day we make thousands of choices, which can be an overwhelming process.  Avoidance and ‘making do’ sets in, and it becomes a way of life. This is sometimes role modelled to children and the habits continue into the next generation.  I believe in bringing routines into daily life.  An organised home or office is the foundation for your life and business to soar to heights you always dreamed it could.  Sometimes we feel trapped in a process of dealing with the ‘urgent’ things first, or sometimes we just don’t know where to start.  There’s a saying ‘Nothing important is urgent’…. love, happiness, time, relaxation, relief, satisfaction, friendship, achievement…I’m sure you can think of more.

So instead of going from one crisis to the next, I can show you another way of being present for your tasks. I call it organising and decluttering stress coaching. The more organised your belongings, paperwork, folders, files, computer and inbox are the more time you have to focus on the important things.  In fact, TIME will be one of the major rewards.  I would love to share what I know with you and create change together.

Learning a new skill you may never have been taught is a process and can be fun and challenging.  Or perhaps you already have these skills, but then life happened, a baby, a new job, an accident, ill health, external stresses – these can be such big life changers and disorganisation can quickly set in and feel insurmountable.

I can see past the clutter and quickly formulate a simple plan to follow. Implementing the plan then goes at your pace. I’ll talk through the various options available for organising and decluttering and help you deal with fears that prevent you from letting go.  With obstacles cleared, your stress levels are greatly reduced, you have more time, and you can achieve more in your life.

After flexing your ‘Organising Muscle’ you’ll feel confident to continue working it every day and create the changes you want to see.  It’s an extremely satisfying process!
